Orange Ability Center was inspired by the feeling of isolation that we experienced raising children with special needs in an area where most services were at least one to two hours away. Our vision was to create a place where people could come together to interact with each other to have positive, enriching experiences together; to create a place where people with diverse abilities could feel safe and part of a community. These goals are acheived through services such as theraputic horseback riding, poultry therapy, and gardening activities. Special events such as family picinics and workshops enable students, club members, and their families to deepen the relationships kindled in our formal programs. The Orange Ability Center is a place to nurture strengths and discover new abilities.
